Good Food Farmers Network represents an ever-expanding group of farmers dedicated to producing the very best food using regenerative agricultural practices. Most of our farms are located in Columbia County, New York, approximately 2.5 hours north of New York City. To learn more about us and what we do, feel free to be in touch and keep an eye out for our on-farm Field Days for a chance to experience agriculture first-hand!
We look forward to meeting you!
Dog Wood Farm & Rock City Mushrooms
Old Chatham, NY
Hilary Corsun and Sara Querbes founded Dog Wood Farm in 2014. The farm includes pastured poultry – chicken eggs and Thanksgiving turkeys for GFF – as well as grassfed beef and cultivated mushrooms. Hilary has been farming since 2012 and manages both the farm and Good Food Farmers Network. Although an integral part of the team, Sara helps on the farm part-time while simultaneously teaching in the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department at SUNY Albany and pursuing her PhD in Sociology.
Little Seed Gardens
Little Seed Gardens is a 97 acre family-run farm in the town of Chatham in Columbia County, situated on rich bottomlands at the confluence of two creeks. Farmers, Claudia Kenny and Willy Denner and their two children, tend vegetables, cover crops and pasture. Willy and Claudia are committed to agricultural practices that protect land and human resources, build biological diversity, and produce quality food for our local communities. Little Seed Gardens is certified organic by NOFA-NY Certified Organic, LLC. As farmers, Claudia and Willy work to sustain the land for future generations.
Jon and Jen Ronsani started Lineage Farm in 2011. Lineage Farm includes nine acres of mixed vegetables grown using biodynamic and organic practices and principles, without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or artificial fertilizer. Jon and Jen seek to bring the land to full health. Their son, Sam, born in December 2013, can often be seen with them at the farm or out and about making deliveries.
